When you discover that there is a vacancy in your company that would be perfect for someone close to you, it is normal for you to have doubts about what to do about it. Is it convenient to recommend a friend ? This is a very personal decision, but there are a number of factors that you should consider before making it.

For example, if you know that your friend wants to reach a managerial position in five years, but your company is not in a position to offer a promotion, it is clear that your company cannot meet his aspirations.
